1.He is the source of obstacles in the way of those who preach the Gospel - I Thess 2.18.

2.He is the Tempter par excellence - I Thess 3.5.

3- He is the great seducer - II Cor 2.11.

4.He confronts even God/Christ - Matt. 4.Iff.; Jn 12.2,27; and Lk 22.31.

5.He approaches us as an angel of light - II Cor 11.14.

6.He receives worship when men adore idols - I Cor 10.2.

7.But God does not permit men to be tempted beyond our strength - I Cor 10.13.

8.God has also provided means to overcome the methods of Satan - I Pet 5.8; Jas 4.7; Eph

4.11,16.
